Summer Internships in Biomedical Informatics
The Department of Biomedical Informatics is currently seeking interested undergraduate students to participate in summer internships. In this program, students are exposed to clinical and translational informatics research and work hands-on with department faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the informatics research domain, especially if a student wishes to pursue a graduate degree in biomedical informatics (it is also a great experience if a student wishes to pursue a degree in CSE, ECE, statistics, biostatistics, or medicine). These internships have the opportunity of being paid or unpaid, depending on individual experience and interest. The internships have the potential to turn into a regular student assistant position through the school year, based on performance and faculty need. If you are interested, please fill out the survey found at this link: https://redcap.bmi.osumc.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=KRXkvL. Details about the sorts of projects students might work on with interested faculty members can be found here.
